As people navigate their career journeys, they often face different challenges to which they react or respond. Without the right information, they may react inappropriately, and in the process, sabotage their careers. C.L.E.A.N.withOlayinka provides a platform where industry leaders share their own experiences to inspire others to excellence.
C.L.E.A.N. is about building people who believe that they can break boundaries; people who overcome their limitations to become unlimited. Looking at the trajectory of the Convener of C.L.E.A.N, this is achievable.

● Connect: People connect when they share a common purpose. Our link in C.L.E.A.N. is our belief we can achieve anything we purpose irrespective of our circumstances. We believe we can remove the lid.

● Energize: Knowing the story behind other people’s success energizes us not to give up on our dreams.
● Achieve: Successful people have some traits – they ‘believe’ and they ‘do’.

The Story behind C.L.E.A.N.

The Convener of C.L.E.A.NwithOlayinka, Olayinka Oyetunji, CFA, FCA, ACS is a chartered accountant and a chartered stockbroker. She is also a charterholder from the CFA Institute. She works with one of the Big Four firms as a financial consultant and is also a tutor for the CFAexamination and other finance courses.

The Convener of C.L.E.A.NwithOlayinka, Olayinka Oyetunji, CFA, FCA, ACS is a chartered accountant and a chartered stockbroker. She is also a charterholder from the CFA Institute. She works with one of the Big Four firms as a financial consultant and is also a tutor for the CFA examination and other finance courses. As a tutor and a volunteer for many years, she had the privilege of meeting different people every day who aspire to do more. However, she noticed that people tended to give up too soon.
She observed that most people do not take cognizance of the many failures that successful people had gone through before their celebrated success. People simply ignored the iceberg because they don’t know, or someone is not telling them about it.
Hence, she started sharing her personal stories about her career journey on LinkedIn in 2017.
Though it was a decision that made her vulnerable, the feedback on the positive impact of that decision on people’s lives and careers was rewarding for her. Beyond that, a lot of people reached out to her to share their personal and career journeys and get her advice. The requests were so overwhelming that she created C.L.E.A.N on 18 January 2020 as a platform to reach a broader audience at the same time.
Since the inception of C.L.E.A.N, the following have been achieved:
1. Series of webinars with industry leaders
2. Series of videos and shorts
3. Series of write-ups
The stories generate a lot of engagement on LinkedIn and her followership has grown from less than 1,000 followers in 2017 to over 41,000 followers in 2023 across various social media platforms.
